The Stand is preparing to bring its brand of American Classics Redefined to Carmel Mountain Ranch. The restaurant website lists its first San Diego location is coming soon and a recent permit filing confirms the fast-casual chain is planning to replace Grub Burger Bar at Carmel Mountain Ranch Home Center.
Headquartered in Encino, CA, The Stand currently operates 15 restaurants primarily across LA and Orange County, with one location in Texas. Besides the San Diego spot, The Stand has several more restaurants listed as Coming Soon in LA, San Bernardino County, and its first spot in the Bay Area.
The menu at The Stand features its elevated approach to American classics, with signature loaded burgers and build-your-own options, Standwiches like the Short Rib Grilled Cheese or BBQ Brisket, plus hot dogs, salads, wraps, fries and onion rings on the side, paired with craft beer and wine, and a dessert menu of handmade shakes and floats.
