According to a recently submitted alcohol license application, a new wine-centric concept is opening in San Francisco’s Mission District.

Coming to 3141 16th Street, Big Finish will land near establishments such as the 16th Street Diner, the bar Delirium, and the Middle Eastern restaurant Freekeh.

What Now San Francisco reached out to the concept’s co-founder, Adam Manson, to inquire about his plans for the tavern, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

Nevertheless, a business proposal available online describes the concept as “a neighborhood tavern but with a wine focus… Big Finish will offer an extensive wines by the glass list, all available by the half glass and bottle. There will also be a quality food program and draft beer.”

On the menu, locals can expect to find items such as tomato braised squid, corn fritters, chicken liver pâté, house-made smoked trout dip, and hot pockets, to name a few.

An opening date has not been announced yet. Stay tuned for updates.
