Grab and Go Japanese restaurant Sushi Uma is opening up a couple of doors away from its previous location.

A liquor license permit for 2026 Irving Street has been filed for Sushi Uma LLC. The restaurant is currently located at 2146 Irving Street.

The restaurant’s mission is to provide a quick fix for sushi without compromising on quality. They serve delicacies like Nigiri, Sashimi, Sushi, Makimono, and handrolls along with various appetizers.

“We serve our customers the same freshness, tenderness, sweetness of sushi that you experienced in fancy sushi restaurants in a fraction of the time and money,” says their website.

What Now Media reached out to representatives for Sushi Uma but did not get a comment.
