Acme Burger is coming soon to Petaluma! The burger spot, which has outposts in Cotati and Santa Rosa, will soon be located at 330 Western Ave. in a 1950’s-era gas station next to Crooked Goat Brewing.

Chef Todd Kniess, previously of Berkeley’s Le Petit Cochon and Bistro Liason, opened Acme Burger in 2019 in pursuit of mastering the iconic burger. His burgers use ingredients of the highest quality, from Willie Bird turkey to Sonoma Mountain Beef, which is locally raised, hormone and antibiotic free, grass-fed and grain-finished.

Customers can customize their burgers with toppings like brie, smoked gouda and even truffle butter, but despite the elevated ingredients, Acme Burger serves their delicious food at an affordable price. The menu also has a comprehensive selection of salads and freshly prepared sides to make your meal complete. Kniess tells What Now San Francisco that we can expect all this at the new Petaluma location, which he hopes to open in September.

At the moment, renovations are underway in a 1947 gas station that will be outfitted with a full kitchen. Customers will walk in to order and be able to enjoy their meals on the outdoor patio area. Kniess adds that they will partner with Crooked Goat Brewing, which will allow taproom customers to order Acme Burger with their brews.
