It looks like international food, facilities, and uniform services provider Aramark is opening a coffee shop in the East Cut. The corporation has filed for permits to open Aramark Coffee Shop, a specialty grocer and market, at 405 Howard Street, across from Salesforce Park.

There’s no shortage of coffee in the area — Philz Coffee, Starbucks, and Bluestone Lane Avery Cafe are all within a couple blocks of the space. But with all those corporate offices nearby (Facebook, Google, Slack, and FitBit, to name a few), there’s no such thing as too many coffee shops.

A representative from Aramark did not immediately respond to a request for comment, and no opening date has been announced. But with San Francisco’s offices, restaurants, and businesses slowly peaking their heads out of the COVID-19 hole, we’re hoping Aramark is preparing for that summer sunshine, like the rest of us.
