According to the Stanford Shopping Center website, Bacio di Latte is opening a new outpost at the Palo Alto mall.
For readers who are unfamiliar with the business, it offers a brief introduction on its website: “Bacio di Latte was born in 2011 from Edoardo and Luigi’s passion for gelato and their desire to share it with the rest of the world.”
“The two brothers set out from their hometown, Milan, and drove across Italy to dive into the secrets of traditional Italian gelato recipes. During this trip, they discovered the most incredible traditional recipes and raw materials and took them on their travels,” the statement continues.
“Bacio di Latte brings these delights to its customers’ cones in the most genuine way… by producing gelato in front of their very eyes, respecting the ancient traditions of this wonderful art.”
Today, Bacio di Latte is headquartered in São Paolo, Brazil and operates over 175 locations across Brazil and in California — in cities including Brentwood, Century City, Los Angeles, Marina del Rey, and Newport Beach.
Located at 660 Stanford Shopping Center, the concept will soon be neighbored by Stanford Shopping Center tenants such as the American restaurant Bazille, Dumpling Time, and True Food Kitchen.
What Now San Francisco reached out to Max Olper, Head of US Operations, to learn more about the expansion; however, he could not provide additional information before publication.
