Bacio di Latte will open at 1500 Mt. Diablo Blvd., Walnut Creek, in the former Vineyard Vines space. According to the Bay Area Telegraph, the shop has scheduled a grand opening for Dec. 11, 2026.

Bacio di Latte was founded in 2011 by brothers Edoardo and Luigi, who traveled across Italy from their hometown of Milan to learn traditional gelato recipes, according to the company’s website. The brand makes its gelato daily in each shop. According to the website, the company sources milk and cream from Clover family farms in Sonoma County, chocolate from Belgium and Italy, pistachios from Sicily, and hazelnuts from Piedmont.

Its fruit sorbets are made with water and a high percentage of locally sourced fruit. Best-selling flavors include Cioccolato Belga, pistachio, Giandujotto, Stracciatella, Caramello Salato, and Crema Torino, along with a vegan chocolate. The menu also includes Ciocchinos, which are cones lined with Nutella or pistachio cream and coated in nuts, as well as affogatos made with a shot of espresso.

The company releases new flavors every month, according to its website. Customers can also order a warm cookie topped with gelato or take home pints and larger containers. The Walnut Creek shop plans to offer more than 22 regular flavors, Ciocchinos, and an affogato bar, according to the Bay Area Telegraph.

The former retail space is being divided into two units, with tea chain Chagee planned for the corner space. Bacio di Latte has recently opened shops on Montana Avenue in Santa Monica and at Valencia Town Center, according to the company’s social media
