Agape Grill will close its Sunnyvale location on October 2 after more than 16 years in business. The Greek and Mediterranean cuisine restaurant released the news on social media. While the longtime establishment prepares to close, it also shared details regarding moving to a new location.
Agape Grill Announces Final Day
The restaurant said its last day of service at its current Sunnyvale location will be Friday, October 2, 2026. Agape Grill will serve customers until 2:30 p.m. that day and is encouraging them to stop by for one final visit.
According to a social media post, the family-run restaurant will close as its lease expires, citing ‘unfortunate circumstances.’
Agape Grill thanked customers for the support and love they have shown over the years. The restaurant said it has been an honor to serve each guest and expressed hope of finding another location in the near future.
It added that future updates will be posted on its website and social media pages.
Customers reacted through comments under the recent farewell note. One of them wrote, “So sad to hear! Good luck finding a new location! Hope to sit down at a table again soon!”
Another user said, “Good luck finding another location, you guys are the best, the food and service is excellent. We will miss you.”
Restaurant Has Served Sunnyvale Since 2010
Agape Grill’s website shows that the family-run restaurant was established in Sunnyvale in 2010. It specializes in homemade Greek and Mediterranean food and offers lunch and dinner. In addition, dine-in and takeaway service are also available.
The website adds that the restaurant also provides corporate and home catering, in-house banquets for up to 200 people, and off-site wedding dinners. Menu options include Lamb Tender, Seafood Souvlaki, and Horiatiki salad.
