Berkeley’s Thai Corner, known for takeaway street food-style Thai cuisine, has changed hands.

New owner Panitee Prakotpol tellWhat Now San Francisco that she plans to make some changes to the restaurant — including opening the space for dine-in customers, after interior renovations have been completed, and introducing an entirely updated menu.

“We’re going to focus more on authentic Thai cuisine,” she shares.

Thai Corner at 1277 Gilman Street — near establishments such as Berkeley Natural Grocery Company, Coffee Conscious, and Westbrae Biergarten — is slated to open this November and will be open for lunch and dinner.
