In the imminent future, we have Big Fish House to look forward to when it comes to the Outer Richmond dining scene. This week the restaurant has applied for a beer and wine license at 2109 Clement St. in San Francisco

Big Fish House will take over the former Ken Kee Cafe space, a popular Hong Kong-style cafe that closed down at the end of last year. Ken Kee’s Yelp page noted that the owners desired a long break for the time being, which came as sad news to locals who said “It’ll be a great loss to the neighborhood.”

Serving Western-style Chinese and Cantonese cuisine since 2019, Ken Kee Cafe was a great spot to grab Baked Pork Chop Rice and Beef Dry Chow Fun. Loyal customers praised the restaurant for serving excellent comfort food at an affordable price.

That said, it’s obvious that Big Fish House has some big shoes to fill, though we’re hopeful that they’ll bring something just as valuable to the table. What Now San Francisco has reached out to the owner of Big Fish House, so we’ll post an update if we gain more information.
