Bigface Coffee, the coffee brand owned by Warriors star Jimmy Butler, is returning to San Francisco for a new pop-up at the corner of Valencia and 22nd streets, in the Corner Store retail space operated by Square.

The pop-up will occupy the former home of Lucca Ravioli, which closed in 2019, according to SF Standard. It opens Thursday, January 29, 2026, and will remain open until mid-April 2026, with operating hours Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bigface Coffee first appeared in San Francisco last summer for a monthlong pop-up.

Butler, an avid coffee enthusiast, hopes to secure a permanent location for Bigface in the city eventually. Customers can expect new specialty drinks and an elevated coffee experience, similar to last summer’s pop-up, which featured drinks such as coconut cloud and black sesame lattes, along with a $100 tasting flight.

The pop-up is part of Square’s Corner Store program, which hosts local small businesses through temporary spaces. Square recently renewed its lease for a second year and does not charge participating merchants rent. The goal is to bring foot traffic, provide a space for small businesses to meet company representatives, and support community engagement. Last year, the program contributed to a 10 percent rise in Square transactions in the neighborhood.

The Corner Store also hosts other pop-ups, including Kristin Juszczyk’s Off Season sports apparel brand, which will be on site from February 5 to 7 for the Super Bowl. The space is designed to provide a dynamic, rotating lineup of small businesses, keeping the corner active and engaging for the community.

Bigface Coffee’s return highlights the growing trend of celebrity-owned food and beverage concepts testing markets through pop-ups. The San Francisco location will allow Butler and his team to refine offerings, interact with customers, and explore the potential for a permanent cafe in the city.
