The chicken sandwich chain Chick-fil-A looks to be broadening its Bay Area presence — planning to open a new outpost in the South Bay.

According to Mercury News, the company has purchased a spot formerly home to a Target near the corner of Silver Creek Road and East Capitol Expressway in San Jose.

What Now San Francisco reached out to the West Region Director of Development, Carlos Arias, but he was not immediately available for comment.

Regardless, it can be reasonably assumed that the outpost will serve up fried chicken sandwiches, chicken nuggets, chicken strips, and wraps — as well as breakfast items, salads, and milkshakes.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so follow Chick-fil-A on Facebook and Instagram for updates.
