Cousins Maine Lobster, a “locally-owned and nationally known” food truck and restaurant chain, plans to open a new brick-and-mortar outpost in the Bay Area.
Coming to Pier 41 Marine Terminal in Fisherman’s Warf, the eatery will neighbor establishments such as Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., Chowders, and Swiss Louis Italian & Seafood.
What Now San Francisco reached out to franchisee Rajat Mohan to inquire about the upcoming location, but he could not provide additional information before publication.
For readers who are unfamiliar with the dining concept, Cousins Maine Lobster is known for its lobster rolls topped with lemon and butter, lobster grilled cheese sandwich, lobster tacos, lobster quesadillas, and bisque, as well as chowder.
Since it was founded in 2012, the Los Angeles-based business has expanded to seven brick-and-mortar restaurants and over 40 food trucks stationed across the nation.
While Mohan has applied for alcohol licensing, an opening date has not yet been announced, so follow Cousins Maine Lobster on Facebook and Instagram for further updates.
