According to a recently submitted permit application, Dishdash Restaurant Group, founded by restaurateurs Nadiah Mshasha and Emad Ibrahim, plans to debut a Dish N Dash outpost in Dublin
Coming to 4808 Dublin Boulevard — taking over a building that was formerly occupied by Applebee’s Bar + Grill, which shuttered back in June — the eatery will land near establishments such as Five Guys, Jamba Juice, and Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar, a “relaxed, lodge-chic chain serving global comfort fare, including stir-fries, pot roast & pastas,” per its Google Maps profile.
“Over the years, as many of our family members have moved toward Dublin and the Tri-Valley area, they have mentioned the opportunity for an upscale fast casual Middle Eastern establishment amongst the existing fast food options,” Mshasha tells the Pleasanton Weekly.
“We also felt the Dublin and Tri-Valley area really shares many of the essential characteristics of the community we serve in the Silicon Valley; ethnically diverse, busy individuals and families looking for high-quality, easily accessible, authentic Middle Eastern food and companies seeking professional, consistent, customizable, and fresh catering options,” she adds
For readers who are unfamiliar with Dish N Dash, the fast-casual restaurant chain was founded in Sunnyvale in 2001 and is presently based in Silicon Valley. The restaurant group operates five outposts in total across Sunnyvale, San Jose, Milpitas, Cupertino, and Fremont.
On the menu are items such as “made-from-scratch hummus, falafel, pita bread, and other Middle Eastern specialities like kibbeh (bulghur shell filled with ground lamb and other goodies) that other restaurants purchase frozen or canned,” she tells the Journal.
What Now San Francisco reached out to Mshasha to learn more about the expansion; however, she could not provide additional information before publication.
Dish N Dash is slated to open during the first quarter of 2026. Follow What Now San Francisco on Facebook for updates.
