It may not be summer yet, but some of us have already been hankering for some of our favorite carnival eats. Berkeley’s go-to spot, Endless Summer Sweets, temporarily closed in December but thankfully, we won’t have to wait too much longer for their fresh funnel cakes and deep fried Oreos.

The new shop at 2358 Shattuck Ave. is nearly ready to go. Owner Antoinette Sanchez tells What Now San Francisco that there are a few minor details to iron out with the city. As soon as these have been approved and finalized, Sanchez hopes to welcome back customers early this spring

Endless Summer Sweets has been serving the East Bay delicious carnival bites for nearly a decade. They have cotton candy, caramel apples, ice cream and deep fried oreos, but what people really love to go there for are the funnel cakes.

Available in both regular and mini sizes, the funnel cakes come in over ten different flavors. There is also an option to create your own funnel cake masterpiece with the toppings on hand. If sweets aren’t your thing, there are also corn dogs, hot dogs, fries and more.
