According to Sonoma Magazine, the owner of Dim Sum and Then Sum, Michelle Wood, plans to reopen the Healdsburg store Jimtown and Then Sum.
Located at 6706 CA-128, the eatery is neighbored by establishments such as Acta Wine, Silver Oak Alexander Valley, and Stonestreet Winery.
On its website, the business shares, “Inquiring minds want to know… When will Jimtown be reopening? It has been a very long journey, but we are finally in the last stages of permitting and renovations to be able to open these doors! Check back in soon for details of the grand opening!”
After exchanging emails with Wood, What Now San Francisco got the scoop on the grand opening. “We are finally opening this coming week. Soft opening June 10,” Wood shares, adding, “And a big celebration and grand opening the weekend of July 4th!”
For readers who are unfamiliar with Wood’s original concept, Dim Sum and Then Sum, the catering business offers a selection of dim sum, ranging from baked BBQ pork buns to veggie potstickers and scallion pancakes with ginger soy dipping sauce.
The Jimtown menu offers a wide variety of dim sum as well, alongside items such as breakfast pastries such as scones and muffins, sandwiches, burgers, and bagels.
An opening date has not been announced yet. Stay tuned for updates.
