The store will offer individual treats and gift boxes, allowing customers to enjoy a wide variety of flavors and textures.
Founded in 1962 in Glarus, Switzerland, Läderach began as a supplier to select chocolate shops before expanding internationally. The brand is known for using premium, fresh ingredients, producing chocolates that highlight the textures, aromas, and flavors unique to Swiss chocolate. Today, Läderach operates in more than 25 countries and continues to expand its global presence.
This Walnut Creek location will bring Swiss chocolate craftsmanship to Broadway Plaza, joining a mix of retail and dining options in downtown Walnut Creek. The store is expected to provide both walk-in purchases and gift selections suitable for seasonal celebrations or everyday treats.
Customers can expect a wide variety of products, including Carres, FrischSchoggi bars, chocolate pearls, and seasonal praline selections. Many items are made with plant-based ingredients or offer vegan options, alongside classic milk and dark chocolates, making the selection versatile for different tastes and dietary needs.
Läderach is family-owned and operated, with a focus on maintaining Swiss chocolate traditions while expanding internationally. This will be an excellent landing space for the brand, offering Walnut Creek shoppers a direct taste of Switzerland and access to fresh, high-quality chocolates crafted with care.
