Millbrae’s MQ Healthy Foods at 420 El Camino Real — near eateries such as 9 Noodle House, the Korean restaurant Han Sang, and Sixteen Mile House — is finally planning to reopen its doors.
The property’s representative, Lance Sorensen, tells What Now San Francisco that the Asian-American-owned establishment closed down during COVID but will begin seating patrons again in December. For readers who are unfamiliar with MQ Healthy Foods, the health-focused restaurant shares a brief introduction on its website: “We want to pass and spread nutritional awareness to the young and old people of the San Francisco Bay Area Community. We want to input the idea that even with less sugar, salt, oil, and fat can still make food as tasty as always.”
On the menu, patrons can expect breakfast, lunch, and dinner items — think pancakes, toasts, waffles, omelets, burritos, burgers, sandwiches, salads, tacos, and bowls — and beverages such as coffee, tea, smoothies, beer, and wine.
