According to a recent post on Instagram, MIXT plans to debut a new outpost in San Mateo
“MIXT is landing fall 2025—follow along as we bring the way to salad to the Peninsula,” the caption reads, and shows the upcoming location as 248 B Street, the former home of B Street Books, which relocated to 1471 Burlingame Avenue in Burlingame.
For readers who are unfamiliar with the chain, MIXT was founded in 2005 by Leslie and David Silverglide in San Francisco. Today, MIXT is headquartered in San Francisco and operates 20 locations across the Bay Area, Los Angeles, and Texas.
“To me, great food is food that tastes delicious, makes you feel good, and gives you the energy and nutrients necessary to be healthy. Our goal at MIXT is to help as many people as possible eat better,” Leslie shares on the business website.
What Now San Francisco reached out to the Silverglides to learn more about the expansion; however, they could not provide additional information before publication.
An opening date has not been announced yet. Follow What Now San Francisco on Facebook for updates.
