New Brewpub Is Coming to Elmira Late Next Year

"What used to sit there is an old bar that was called The Cabin. We had to tear down half of it because it was condemned, but we were able to keep half of it for our taproom," shares Co-Owner Jeremy Mason.

A new brewpub and taproom, Diversity Beer Company, is planning to debut in Elmira late next year.

Coming to 6081 California Pacific Road, the upcoming drinkery will neighbor establishments such as Chepo’s Tamales, Elmira Baptist Church, and the Vacaville Fire Station.

“What used to sit there is an old bar that was called The Cabin. We had to tear down half of it because it was condemned, but we were able to keep half of it for our taproom,” Co-Owner Jeremy Mason tells What Now San Francisco.

The dilapidated former structure is “to be replaced with a new larger (40′ x 72′) structure in the same location,” according to a recent construction permit application.

Mason shares that the brewpub will distribute its own label, concocted by Brewmaster Roger Dunham, who has been homebrewing for over 30 years.

“We’ll be making everything from a seltzer to a stout,” Mason shares, explaining the rationale behind the taproom’s name.

With permitting underway and construction slated to begin shortly, Diversity Beer Company is predicted to open in fall 2023.
