Olive Juice is preparing to open at 354 Divisadero St., San Francisco, CA 94117, in the Lower Haight. According to SF Standard, the cafe will initially launch as a back-patio pop-up in mid-October. According to the SF Standard, owner Hannah Collins Tate has confirmed she plans to establish a permanent storefront in one of the city’s most competitive coffee hubs.
Hannah Collins Tate, founder of Roy Hospitality, a restaurant design firm, is opening the cafe. According to the Hoodline report, Tate has nearly two decades of hospitality experience and has worked on restaurant projects through the design firm. Olive Juice will operate as an all-day cafe centered on seasonal food and drinks incorporating olive oil.
The initial menu includes a rotating quiche, dill-forward egg salad sandwich, and Greek yogurt bowl topped with olive-oil granola. Olive oil will also be incorporated into beverages, including the Olive You a Lot smoothie, which combines banana, dates, almond butter, vanilla, maple, oat milk, sea salt, and olive oil.
The cafe’s Olive Oil Cacao Espresso combines raw cacao, almond butter, olive oil, milk, and sea salt. The pop-up will operate Thursday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., with expanded hours planned later. The permanent cafe is expected to follow in 2027.
