According to the San Francisco Business Times, the restaurateur behind Meskie’s Ethiopian is preparing to debut a new concept in Lower Nob Hill.

Taking over a 4,158-square-foot space at 1000 Larkin Street that was formerly home to Members Only and Finders Keepers, Meski SF will land near establishments such as DACHA Kitchen & Bar, Jane on Larkin, and Kuma Sushi + Sake.

“Meski SF is a new concept, offering a thoughtfully curated bar program and a uniquely flavorful Ethiopian fusion menu,” Meskie’s owner Guma Fassil tells the Journal.

For readers who are unfamiliar with Meskie’s Ethiopian, the restaurant introduces itself as “authentic Ethiopian cuisine serving Berkeley & the Bay Area since 1993.”

What Now San Francisco spoke briefly with Fassil, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
