The restaurateurs behind Bay Area eateries iTalico and Terún are planning to debut a new Italian concept, Impasto, in San Carlos.

The team describes the upcoming eatery as a “Neapolitan-style pizza restaurant” and offers a brief introduction on its website, sharing, “Our restaurant is dedicated to providing an authentic Italian dining experience, featuring delicious and traditional Neapolitan pizza made with the freshest ingredients available. We will also put a twist on our pizza by experimenting with different kinds of grains local and imported from Italy.”

In addition to pizza, the menu will offer a selection of antipasti, salads, and desserts. Cocktails and “an amazing wine list” will also be available.

“We believe that dining out should be an experience, and that’s why we’ve created a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests,” the team shares.

What Now San Francisco reached out to Impasto representatives to inquire about the upcoming concept, but they could not provide additional information before publication.

According to recent reportage by Palo Alto Online, Impasto is slated to open in January or February 2024.

Stay tuned for updates.
