According to Eater, the restaurateurs behind popular Bay Area eateries Maum and Bao Bei are debuting a new concept in Menlo Park.

Coming to 827 Santa Cruz Avenue, Yeobo, Darling will land near establishments such as Bagel Street Cafe, LeVant Dessert, and Mademoiselle Colette.

Co-owner Meichih Kim — who will operate the business alongside her husband Chef Michael Kim — tells What Now San Francisco, “We are in the process of menu development, so we are constantly thinking about how we can share our story while making guests feel at home, whether through familiar flavors or the presence of many small plates on the table. Yeobo, Darling is a concept that is rooted in our heritage, so our priority has always been to create a restaurant that feels cozy, inviting, and sincere.”

The Journal reports that the menu will boast dishes such as chilled perilla somyun — a wheat flour noodle soup — and pork collar served with banchan on the side, as well as “casual dishes” such as a hambak steak burger. Additionally, a “zero-proof or low-ABV” cocktail menu will be developed by the team at Taiwan’s Bar Mood.

Yeobo, Darling is slated to open in late May. Stay tuned for updates.
