According to a recently submitted permit application, Bay Area concept Momo Grill is expanding — planning to debut a new location in Sunnyvale.

Coming to 133 S Murphy Avenue, the eatery will land near establishments such as Coffee & More Cafe, Metro City Restaurant & Bar, and Philz Coffee.

For readers who are unfamiliar with Momo Grill, the business offers a brief introduction on its website: “We started our journey with a food truck in 2017…. After a year and a half of planning and simultaneously working on the relaunch of the food truck, we [opened] our dream space here in Saratoga as the first ever The Momo Grill Restaurant.”

“Nepalese dumplings, momo, which we specialize in are usually filled with steamed vegetables or meat and encased in a flour-based dough that is then steamed or fried. Commonly eaten as snacks, momo is served with a delicious dip that can be strong and spicy,” the statement continues.

What Now San Francisco reached out to the concept’s co-owner, Manoj Paudel, to inquire about the expansion, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

An opening date for the Sunnyvale spot has not been announced yet, so follow Momo Grill on Facebook for updates.
