Sultan’s Kebab, a Bay Area Mediterranean and Turkish restaurant chain specializing in halal, charcoal-grilled kebabs, is getting ready to open new locations in Concord at 2151 Salvio Street and Saratoga at 14554 Big Basin Way, Unit A.

The company’s new Concord location is expected to open in two to three months at the former Lima restaurant space in Todos Santos Plaza, while the Saratoga location, replacing Mangia Mornings, is described as “opening soon,” according to The Mercury News. Owner Fatih Ulas tells the publication that the company wants to continue expanding its brand and bringing Mediterranean cuisine to more Bay Area communities. Both locations are planned to operate daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and will offer dine-in and catering, with the Concord restaurant also planned to have a patio.

The two new restaurants will bring Sultan’s Kebab to six locations across the Bay Area. Existing restaurants are located in Danville, Livermore, Campbell, and Pleasanton, with Pleasanton serving as the original location. The company’s website lists both Concord and Saratoga as coming soon.

Sultan’s Kebab traces its history to 2002 and describes the restaurant as a continuation of the late Sultan Ulas’ legacy. Fatih Ulas says his father inspired the restaurant’s focus on Turkish kebabs and mezze. The company’s menu is centered on Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine, with charcoal-grilled meats among its main offerings.

The menu includes Turkish-style kebabs served with fresh bread, rice, or garlic feta fries, along with mezze, shawarma salads, and baklava. Other offerings include lamb, chicken, beef, shawarma, kofte, Adana kebab, salmon, prawns, falafel, grilled vegetables, and several rice bowl and wrap options.

Both new locations will offer the restaurant’s halal menu, along with dine-in and catering services. The Concord restaurant will also include a patio, while both locations are planned to maintain daily hours of 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. With these additions, Sultan’s Kebab will expand beyond its four existing Bay Area locations.
