The Peasant’s Courtyard restaurant bid it’s finale goodbye at 3195 Danville Blvd, Alamo location. According to LiverVine, the cafe will be under new ownership and will be rebranding to The Courtyard Restaurant.
East Bay Artisan bakery group (Worth Group), led by chef Rodney Worth, has taken over the eatery and is now remodelling the space in anticipation of its reopening in 2026.
The Peasant’s Courtyard had announced just before its final service that it would be permanently closing as the family that runs the East Bay Artisan bakery, which is well-known for selling their baked goods at local farmers’ markets, including one in Danville every Saturday, made its way into the San Ramon Valley for the first time with a refreshed concept.
The Courtyard Restaurant is set to be a dining spot with a seasonal lunch and brunch menu, with dinner service planned to follow. The transition is set to take place immediately, with the new concept opening the day after The Peasant’s Courtyard served its final meals on Friday, 17 April 2026.
Whatnow San Francisco reached out to Rodney Worth, but he did not respond at the time of publication.
