Pause Studio is preparing to open its first San Francisco Bay Area location at 223 Market Street, San Francisco, with the studio expected to open in late summer 2026. According to information provided by the company, the Castro location will be owned by Frances Schendle.
Founded as a wellness and recovery concept, Pause Studio offers a range of services designed to support physical recovery, relaxation, and overall well-being. According to the company’s website, the studios combine multiple wellness therapies in one location, allowing guests to schedule several services during a single visit.
The Castro studio will offer floatation therapy, infrared sauna, cold plunge, LED light therapy, compression therapy, IV vitamin therapy, vitamin shots, and prescriptive wellness services. According to the company, the space is designed with private treatment rooms intended to provide a quiet environment for recovery and relaxation. Guests will be able to combine different therapies into customized visits based on their wellness goals.
To mark the opening, Pause Studio Castro has introduced a limited-time Discovery Package that includes a float session, a 60-minute contrast therapy session, an LED light bed session, a Normatec compression therapy session, and a VitaShot, excluding NAD+. The company says the package will be available at 50% off for a limited time following the opening.
