According to a recent permit filing, 1933 will be taking over what was previously home to Vi and Glynn’s Tavern in Marysville at 10321 State Avenue.
A representative of 1933 was not immediately available for commentary upon What Now Seattle’s request.
While the opening date and the overall specifics of what 1933 will have to offer have yet to be confirmed, according to Realty One Group Bold, the building was originally built in 1933 and was listed back on the market in 2022 before being sold.
Realty One describes the property as being once the home of Vi and Glynn’s Tavern, which holds a rich history, having served as an establishment for many decades. Its unique feature is said to include one of the few outdoor areas in the vicinity, a valuable asset for attracting patrons seeking al fresco dining and entertainment. Nestled on the recently widened State Ave/Smokey Point Boulevard, the property is said to offer a commercial building but also an adjacent vacant lot.
According to Vi’s website, they were originally established in 1977. They are described as a business that is listed in the categories of bars & grills, beer taverns, full-service restaurants, bars, grills & lounges, limited-service restaurants, and eating places.
The permit filer and registered agent of the business, which is under Kams Kreations LLC, are both under Kam Bradley according to Bizapedia. The business was filed for approximately nine months ago, back in December of 2022, and is listed as an active filing.
