According to a recent permit filing, Brewcade will soon open its doors in Stanwood at 7009 265th St NW STE 102.
“My goal opening date is early March, but I’m still going through some LCB stuff and minor build-out elements that need to be wrapped up. Brewcade will be a taphouse where we will offer craft beer, seltzers, cider, and wine. You can bring your food if so inclined! There are a lot of great food options in the complex we’re located in,” the owner of Brewcade, Jonathan Howard, told What Now Seattle.
“I want to make it a neighborhood gathering place and be a fun, low-key place to hang out. We will have 16 pinball machines, about a dozen arcade games, a sitting area away from the games, board games, and TVs will be up for ball games.”
“We are also hoping to do trivia nights and karaoke. I’m aiming to make the space a great opportunity to meet new people, enjoy a drink, and have good company.”
“I got into pinball and arcade games as a kid originally, but later on I bought my first house and had a guest bedroom where I began to collect pinball machines. What was originally one pinball machine eventually grew into more. Later on, I converted the garage into an arcade.”
“I have wanted to do this for about 5 years. Before this, I was in the aerospace industry. During COVID-19, I got more and more into pinball and arcade games, and I’m excited to share that passion within a lowkey and fun place to hang out,” Howard added.
The property itself, according to Commerical Exchange, is described as “2,120 SF of vanilla shell space adjacent to Subway in Shops B. Open space ready for final tenant improvements for retail, service or office uses. This prime location is adjacent to Subway and near the Stanwood Cinema Pavilion.”
