According to a recent permit filing, La Zuliana Venezuelan Food aims to debut in Kent at 10700 SE 208th Street Suite 101 and 102.

This looks to be the second brick-and-mortar location for La Zuliana. The first is registered at what looks to be a residential address. Yeixo Moreno Porra and Litsida Porra are listed to be behind the concept.

La Zuliana’s Instagram biography states that they offer Venezuelan food such as “tequeños & teque, empanadas, arepitas cabimeras, and patacones.”

The new location, according to Loop Net, is a part of 208th Street Station. The property was built in 1986 and renovated in 2005, boasting 15,935 square feet of space. The property is marked as a retail building that consists of multiple tenants.

What does the name “La Zuliana” mean? La Zuliana translates to “The Zulian” in English. After doing some research, the term seems to typically refer to something or someone from Zulia, a region in Venezuela. Zulia is a state located in the northwest of Venezuela.
