According to a recent permit filing, Mayuri aims to debut a new location in South Lake Union at 1001 Mercer Street.

Mayuri currently has three open locations, with two new locations on the horizon including the South Lake Union location. Mayuri has two open locations in Redmond, with the third in Bothell.

Mayuri’s website states “Mayuri Foods is a one-stop-shop Indian, Pakistani, Nepali, Srilankan and Bangladeshi Asian grocery store and full-service marketplace. Halal meat shop, bakery, flower shop, restaurants, and more!”

“Mayuri Foods is a family-owned business that has served the Greater Seattle Area for 25+ years. We consider our community to be part of our extended family, which is why we accept the challenge of being good corporate citizens.”

“Mayuri” translates to peacock in Hindi. The multi-colored feathers of the peacock serve as our inspiration for our one-stop organic shop. There is something for everyone! We stock everything you need to prepare authentic Indian and Asian cuisine. This includes organic produce, herbs, and spices.”
