Roslyn is about to get a new hangout spot as a game-filled arcade with food and drinks prepares to open in a bigger space.
Courtney and Joe Neese will open Roslyn Arcade at 204 W. Pennsylvania Ave. They aim to create a fun, welcoming space for kids, according to an Instagram post.
The duo also own several Roslyn businesses, including Roslyn Theatre, Pink Palace Boardshop and the recently opened Level Up Arcade, next door to the new location.
“The arcade has only been open since Memorial Day and it is growing and so fun! We’re still open upstairs at Harper’s at Level Up while we plan the big move into Roslyn Arcade! It’s going to be a space for video games, pinball, food, wine, and beer with the skateboard and snowboard shop attached in its own amazing space,” the owners’ shared via Facebook.
The Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board recently approved Roslyn Arcade for a liquor license, according to business filings.
Inside, the space features repurposed movie reel lights by Collette and sputnik fixtures adding a playful touch. The owners are also creating a lounge where parents can enjoy drinks while their children play, along with revamping the kitchen and developing a new menu.
As they inch closer to the opening, the Neeses are deep cleaning the former Logan’s space and moving in arcade games.
“Thanks for all your support and looking forward to getting this open so that we can all enjoy it. In the meantime, if you want to play video games or do VR, Level Up is still open,” a post read.
