Shomon Has Filed For a Denny Regrade Area Location

According to a recent permit filing, Shomon has filed for a location in the Denny Regrade area at 2301 5th Avenue Suite 102.

A representative of Shomon was not immediately available to comment upon What Now Seattle’s request.

While an official opening date and what Shomon plans to offer have yet to be confirmed, according to the permit filing, Shomon was filed for under Taste of Japan, LLC.

Taste of Japan, LLC was incorporated on February 20th, 2007, according to Washington Company Search. Listed on the business and permit filing is Yoshihisa Yokoyama.

For the property, according to Loop Net, the building consists of six stories and was built in 2002. The overall floor size is approximately 197,100 square feet with a typical floor size of approximately 32,800 square feet.

The property listing describes the space as a “Central location in Seattle’s Denny Regrade neighborhood between Belltown and South Lake Union. Easily accessible destination: 4 blocks to Westlake Station light rail and bus tunnel, 2 blocks from Hwy. 99 on and off ramps, and 4 blocks to South Lake Union Streetcar.”
