According to an article from Puget Sound Business Journal, Tapped Public House signed a lease to open at the Port of Everett Waterfront Place development.
A representative of Tapped Public House was not immediately available for commentary upon What Now Seattle’s request.
While an official opening date has yet to be confirmed, according to a tweet from Seattle Dining, “Groundbreaking will begin in early January.”
The article from Puget Sound Business Journal adds, “Tapped will join the Rustic Cork wine Bar, Hamilton Cellars tasting room, and Menchies @ the Marina in a 12,000-square-feet building. The restaurant offers a family-friendly space with Pacific Northwest fare and dozens of rotating beverages on taps.”
Port of Everett released more information in a news detail, stating, “This announcement marks the fourth Tapped Public House location for Sean Drought, Brian Radford, and Ivo Schilbach of The Way Group Hospitality, who also have locations in Camano Island, Mill Creek and Mukilteo. They look forward to expanding their family of restaurants and offerings to the Port of Everett’s Waterfront Place.”
“The restaurant and bar will be on the second floor with interior and exterior dining spaces, including the first open-air rooftop deck dining experience at the waterfront with marine and mountain views. A walk-up retail store and take-out window will be located on the first level, with convenient access from the Marina esplanade, and outdoor patio space.”
According to Tapped Public House’s company website, “We are a scratch kitchen serving Pacific Northwest-inspired dishes and kick-ass craft beer, cider, wine, and other delicious things! We support local and use the highest quality ingredients. Our menu is curated intentionally to highlight seasonality and our region’s abundance of great ingredients. Our goal is to keep it simple, approachable, and cravable!”
