Von’s 1000 Spirits, a Seattle-based bar and restaurant, is getting ready to open a new location in Kirkland at 115 Park Lane.
The company’s new restaurant is set to open in the former home of Feast, near downtown Kirkland’s waterfront, according to the Puget Sound Business Journal. This will mark Von’s 1000 Spirits’ second Eastside location and its third overall. While the restaurant is targeting a late April opening, construction is expected to begin in January. Customers can expect the same core menu found at the brand’s other locations, including sourdough pizzas, pastas, Von’s Signature Hamburgs, and a full spirits program.
The Kirkland location will occupy approximately 3,300 square feet. The site sits within walking distance of the waterfront and downtown Kirkland’s central retail and dining area. The company is aiming to have the restaurant open ahead of the FIFA World Cup in June, which is expected to drive increased activity throughout the region. Preparations for the event are already underway, particularly at the downtown Seattle location.
Von’s 1000 Spirits has operated in downtown Seattle since relocating to 1225 First Avenue in 2013, across from the Seattle Art Museum. The move followed the closure of its original Pine Street location, which operated under the Von’s name beginning in 1974. The brand expanded to the Eastside in 2022 with the opening of its Woodinville restaurant at Northwest Wine Village. The Kirkland project continues that Eastside growth.
The restaurant is known for its scratch kitchen and use of a long-standing sourdough starter in its pizza and pasta dough. The menu centers on sourdough pizzas, fresh pastas, Von’s Signature Hamburgs, and seafood dishes, including made-to-order chowder. The bar program features a large spirits selection alongside scratch cocktails.
Von’s 1000 Spirits is operated by Heritage 1904, a fifth-generation Seattle-based company led by owner Merrisa Claridge. Heritage 1904 currently operates three restaurants and one distillery. The Kirkland opening reflects the company’s continued focus on expanding its footprint in the Puget Sound region.
