According to a recent permit filing, Yaki Raki is set to open in Tacoma at 3202 S 23rd St STE F7.

The owner of Yaki Raki was unable to provide additional commentary or information beyond stating that construction for Yaki Raki is currently a full-time venture.

While overall information is limited and an opening date has yet to be confirmed, Yaki Raki will be taking over the space that was once home to Wok & Teriyaki House.

Before its closure, Wok & Teriyaki House was described as a “basic Chinese/Japanese go-to for egg rolls, sushi & teriyaki in a shopping-mall locale,” according to Google. Yelp for Wok & Teriyaki House was updated by the owner over three months ago in regard to its closure.

The shopping-mall locale in question is Tacoma Central. According to Bianco Properties, the mall holds over 110,000 square feet of space. It is not only home for soon-to-be Yaki Raki, but also TJ MAXX, Dollar Tree, and Office Depot, to name a few. The site plan provided by Bianco Properties shows 21 suites that include retail and food options.
