A new deli offering classic Italian-style sandwiches and more is preparing to open its doors at the intersection of South Collins Street and East Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Plant City. Angelina’s Deli will soon open its doors at 204 S Collins Street.

“I grew up in a big family and I’ve worked in a lot of sandwich shops,” Angelina Giambo, who owns the upcoming restaurant, told What Now on Monday. “I started in a New York deli, and I loved it.”

Giambo is also the entrepreneur behind Plant City’s Style Bar, a local salon, which opened last fall.

“The idea is to bring more options to Plant City, to get more people Downtown,” said Giambo.

Angelina’s Deli will open in a space that seats about 20 indoors, with another ten seats outside. It will offer a menu based on Italian women’s names, featuring a variety of classic sandwiches, salads, wraps, and more, with gluten-free and keto options. There will also be a charcuterie brunch on weekends.
