With eight locations in Florida and a ninth in Louisiana, BubbaQue’s BBQ is preparing to make that number an even 10. Some time after closing its Bradenton location, BubbaQue’s is preparing to make a Bradenton comeback, this time at 6310 E SR 70, according to plan review paperwork submitted by East Bradenton BBQ LLC.

The BubbaQue’s menu differs by location, but it has included Bubbatizers like Bubba Nuggets (Not what ya thank! But yellow corn nuggets batter dipped and fried, served with ranch) and Fried Pickle Chips; nacho varieties like the Original Redneck Nachos (crinkle cut fries with melted cheddar, pulled pork, and tractor grease); and more.

At the center of the menu is the Create Yer Own Combo Dinner, which lets you choose two or three proteins, plus two sides and Bubba Bread. BubbaQue’s proteins include Pulled Pork, Texas Brisket, BBQ Chicken, Smoke Turkey, Texas Sausage, and more. As for sides, you can choose from classics like Mac N Cheese, Baked Beans, Cole Slaw, Fried Okra, and many others.

“Welcome to BubbaQue’s, where we take BBQ very seriously,” says the BubbaQue’s website. “From the moment guests step through the door until the last swipe of sauce is soaked up, the focus is on creating an enjoyable dining experience that celebrates Southern culture, cooking, and hospitality. BubbaQue’s specializes in expertly smoked cuts of pork, beef, and chicken, accompanied by freshly prepared Southern side dishes made from traditional recipes and quality ingredients.”
