This fall, Safety Harbor’s Main Street food and drink community will be getting a brand new brunch restaurant. Called Good Day Cafe, it’s opening at 310 Main Street, at the intersection with Third Avenue South.

“We’re hoping for an opening in October, but we might get pushed back until November,” Chef Robert Blanque told What Now on Friday.

For the moment, most of the details on Good Day Cafe are staying under wraps.

“All I can share now is that’s going to be elevated brunch,” the chef said. “My background is that I have a lot of Michelin experience. So I’m trying to incorporate that kind of fine-dining experience, with multicultural cuisines, into brunch.”

That, plus the fact that Good Day Cafe will occasionally feature tasting menus, is all that can be revealed for now. But stay tuned for more details as they become available.

Opening at Main Street and Third Avenue South, Good Day Cafe will join a food and drink community that includes restaurants like Sips Wine Bar, The Tides Market, Athens Restaurant, and Water Oak Grill.
