With several locations around Central Florida, Haines City-based ice cream chain La Michoacana appears to be on the move again with a new opening.
This week, What Now came across plan review paperwork submitted by La Michoacana Ventures LLC for a new La Michoacana location in Auburndale, at 198 Melton Ave.
There, guests would be able to enjoy La Michoacana’s wide range of frozen treats and other dishes.
“We offer a wide variety of Mexican Paletas and Ice Cream with also some of your favorite Antojitos,” says the brand’s Facebook page.
What Now reached out on Friday to co-owner Vicente Barajas to ask about plans for a new La Michoacana in Auburndale. Barajas was not immediately available for comment.
Opening in the Melton Ave location, just off Havendale Boulevard, La Michoacana would join a community of nearby restaurants that includes Wawa, Salem’s Fresh Eats, Taco Bell, and Domino’s Pizza.
