This week, What Now came across plan review documents for the new donut shop submitted by Lakeland Donuts LLC, which indicates Lakeland Donuts is opening at 2810 S Florida Avenue.
The Florida Avenue South location situates Lakeland Donuts alongside Holy Moly Smoke Shop, not far south of the Market at Southgate Shopping Center, a retail center anchored by a Publix Super Market and home to food and drink concepts like Starbucks and Five Guys.
What Now reached out on Wednesday to owner Sophal Cheng to ask about plans for Lakeland Donuts. Cheng declined to comment on the news at this time.
