Sunshine Restaurant Partners, a force in the IHOP network with more than 150 locations in the state of Florida, appears to be expanding the brand’s reach once more in the Greater Tampa Bay market. According to plan review paperwork submitted by the company, a new IHOP is in the works in New Port Richey, at 7968 Little Road.
SRP is a big fish in a big pond: IHOP, breakfast giant that it is, encompasses locations in all 50 states, plus at least a dozen countries outside the U.S.
What Now reached out to Sunshine Restaurant Partners CFO John Salvaggio on Friday to ask about plans for a new New Port Richey location. Salvaggio was not immediately available for comment.
Meanwhile, in the world of IHOP, the Pumpkin Spice pancake (“the official flavor of fall”) is now turning heads.
“Fall in love with IHOP’s Pancake of the Month!” says the IHOP website. “Enjoy a full stack of Pumpkin Spice Pancakes, made with real pumpkin and seasonal spices, and crowned with creamy whipped cream topping. Or get it as a combo, with 2 Pumpkin Spice Pancakes, 2 bacon strips or 2 pork sausage links, 2 eggs your way and hash browns.
