The intersection of Cypress Gardens Boulevard and Southeast Plaza Road in Winter Haven appears to be the future home of a new restaurant serving a selection of seafood dishes. Paperwork was submitted recently by Alex’s Kajun Seafood Restaurant LLC for a restaurant at 150 Southeast Plaza Road

Behind Alex’s Kajun Seafood Restaurant LLC is owner Tricia Nguyen. What Now reached out to Nguyen on Monday to inquire about plans for the Winter Haven restaurant. Nguyen was not immediately available for comment.

For the moment, this leaves a lot of questions unanswered about Alex’s Kajun Seafood Restaurant’s menu offerings, although it’s safe to expect a cajun-style seafood boil—which sounds pretty good to us.

The Southeast Plaza Road location is part of a cluster of buildings that include the Winter Haven Bridge Club and several fast-casual eateries, including McDonald’s, Denny’s, and Culver’s. The address is part of a building that houses Lucky Nails and Spa, Cypress Therapy Center, and Papa John’s Pizza.
