Cortez Commons, the retail center on the southeast corner of Cortez Boulevard and Mariner Boulevard in Spring Hill, appears to be adding a Panda Express to its food and beverage roster. Paperwork submitted by Panda Express Inc shows a new location opening at 7165 Mariner Boulevard.

“Founded in 1983 at the Glendale Galleria in Glendale, California, Panda Express is America’s favorite Chinese restaurant,” says the Panda Restaurant Group website. “Panda Express is the largest family-owned and operated Asian dining concept in America.”

The Panda Express ordering process will be familiar to almost anyone in the States: choose between Chow Mein, Fried Rice, White Steamed Rice, and Super Greens; then add choices of entrees. These include the Original Orange Chicken, Honey Walnut Shrimp, Grilled Teriyaki Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, Beijing Beef, and lots more.

Cortez Commons is already home to a number of brands with major recognition. It houses a Moe’s Southwest Grill, a Bonefish Grill, a Chili’s Grill & Bar, and a Wawa.
