Last Friday, Oct 21, a Delaware-based company, Shamrock Wings LLC filed plan reviews for two new Wingstop locations in the cities of Pinellas Park and Sarasota. The Pinellas Park outpost is located at 7095 66th St N., while the Sarasota restaurant can be found at 4035 Clark Rd J.
A representative of Shamrock Wings LLC did not return a request for comment on when the new restaurants will open.
Since its founding in 1994 in Garland, TX, Wingstop has expanded to some 1,500 restaurants around the world – four of which are in Tampa according to the company’s website with one “coming soon” to 8456 W Hillsborough Ave. – making good on the company’s mission to “serve the world flavor.”
In fact, flavor is a key ingredient – both literally and metaphorically – in Wingstop’s brand identity, which writes on its website that “We’re not in the wing business. We’re in the flavor business,” adding, “It’s flavor that defines us and has made Wingstop one of the fastest growing brands in the restaurant industry,”
