Puerto Rico Bakery May Be Opening Storefront in Brandon

Permit paperwork indicates the local bakery brand is looking to open a shop at Kingsway Shopping Center

Local Brandon bakery brand Puerto Rico Bakery appears to preparing a new brick-and-mortar location. A recently submitted plan review shows Puerto Rico Bakery opening at 1213 Kingsway Road, in Kingsway Shopping Center.

“Here at Puerto Rico Bakery, Baking is our passion,” says the bakery’s website. “We use only the finest and freshest ingredients to create pastries that will fill your belly and warm your heart. Your taste buds will thank you!”

Puerto Rico Bakery’s menu includes a selection of cakes and much more. There are also selections of Arroces, Carnes, Ensaladas, and Pastas.

What Now reached out to Puerto Rico Bakery owners Joey Malave and Emy Rivera to inquire about plans for a Puerto Rico Bakery brick-and-mortar. The bakery owners were not immediately available for comment.

Opening in Kingsway Shopping Center, Puerto Rico Bakery would join a food and beverage roster that includes Martin’s Indian Cuisine and Westshore Pizza.
