Ybor City will soon be home to Tampa’s first Sweet Krunch Korean Fried Chicken. It’s the first expansion for Sweet Krunch, which offers a menu of boba teas, Korean fried chicken, and other Korean dishes at 5605 Manatee Ave. W in Bradenton.

“This is the second location, and there are plans to keep growing,” a representative told What Now on Monday. “We’re hoping to open by the end of October.”

The new location will seat 50-60 guests offering the same proven menu offered at the Bradenton location. That menu includes its namesake fried chicken; Korean dishes like the nutritious Bibimbap, tasty stir-fry Japchae, and Bulgogi; and a selection of milk teas and fruit teas with boba pearls.

Opening in its Seventh-Avenue location, Sweet Krunch Korean Fried Chicken will join a food and beverage community that includes Reservoir Bar, New York New York Pizza, and HotWax Coffee Shop, Kava Bar, and Tap House.
