Just last week, What Now reported on plans for locally-owned breakfast and brunch chain The Breakfast Company to launch a new location in Venice that will serve as a prototype for future growth as the brand sets its sights on franchising. Hot on the heels of this news comes a recent Instagram post by The Breakfast Company:
“A little FriYAY news…” the post says. “We’re so excited to share that The Breakfast Company is coming to Parrish in May 2026! Get ready for all your brunch favorites, cozy vibes, and plenty of coffee refills in a brand-new spot. Stay tuned for updates as we get closer to opening day!”
The Parrish location will open in the Gateway Commons shopping mall (which Google Maps places in Palmetto). Like the location opening in Venice, The Breakfast Company’s Parrish location will also comprise about 4,000 square feet of space and will be headed up by seasoned Breakfast Company employees, owner Dimitri Syros told What Now.
“People have been saying, ‘You’ve got to open in Parrish,’ as the area develops over the years,” Syros said. “We’d been trying, although it was difficult because the demand for space is so heavy, but finally we were able to make it happen. We think it’s going to be our busiest store—so far, anyway.”
The Breakfast Company’s menu features handhelds like the Breakwich (Scrambled eggs, American cheese & applewood smoked bacon on a croissant bun) and the Texas Burrito (Chopped sausage, shredded cheddar cheese, sauteed onions & peppers, crispy potatoes, & scrambled eggs rolled in a flour tortilla; served with side of cilantro-honey sauce & salsa), a selection of Omelettes & Scrambles, Skillet Bowls served over crispy breakfast potatoes and topped with eggs, and lots—lots—more.
