With more than 6,000 locations in the U.S., Wendy’s is one of the classic fast burger franchises, a household name, and even (Sir, this is a Wendy’s) a meme.
The state of Florida alone boasts more than 570 Wendy’s locations, and yet another is in works: Wendy’s is opening a new location in Lakewood Ranch.
“At Wendy’s, we’re all about serving up fresh food, even if it means going the extra mile,” says the Wendy’s website. “When you walk through our doors, we do what we can to make everyone feel at home because our family extends through your community.”
The precise address of the location is not yet known. What Now reached out to franchisee Tim Cloe to inquire about the opening. Cloe said it’s early to start commenting on the opening but did confirm that it was expected for October.
